I'm running Windows XP, Home Edition 2002, Version 5.1, 32 bit (Service Pack 3)I can't access my "Owner" file regardless of how I approach it - even from the command prompt. I keep getting messages like "Owner is not Accessible. Access Denied" I lost it and thousands of irreplacable files after screwing up a "System Restore" attempt. (I do not now have a viable "system restore" point.) What I do have is a second "Owner" file to wit: "Owner.YOUR-W92P4BHLZG." There are apparently still files resident on the orginal "Owner" account but I can't get in. Here's the kicker: I've found instructions on how to obtain "Owner" file access, but I must have an odball version of Windows because there's no "Use Simple File Sharing" option in my "Advanced Settings" options under "Folder Options."
